Karachi: Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) has increased the Alto 660cc VX model’s price by Rs 63,000 to Rs 1.198 million from July 7. The company said in a letter to authorized dealers that customers who have already booked the model with full payment, without giving any reason for the price increase, will not be charged the above price difference.
Earlier, PSMC had raised the price of two-wheelers by Rs 3,000-6,000 on July ,1.The new prices of the GD 110S, GS 150, GS 150 SE, GR 150 and GSX 150 SF are priced at Rs 175,000, Rs 185,000, Rs202,000, Rs279,000 and Rs579,000 respectively.
NJ Auto Industries, the assembler of the superpower 70-250cc bike models, has also hiked prices from July 1 to Rs 1,000-2,000. However, on Tuesday, the company withdrew its previous announcement and instead increased the rate by Rs 1,200-2,500 for two-wheelers, which will take effect from July 10.
