Mohammad Naveed and Shaiman Anwar Butt, Two United Arab Emirates (UAE) players, have been suspended from all kinds of cricket for 8 years. Both were observed criminal of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code by the ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal. on Tuesday, ICC stated that their ban will begin from October 2016, when they were first suspended. ICC tribunal after complete performance and display of written and oral evidence got both Shaiman and Naveed guilty!

Article 2.1.1: Party to approval or effort to fix or create or otherwise affect badly the result, progress, manner, or other features (s) of competition or matches at the ICC Men’s 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifier.

Article 2.4.4: Missing to reveal to the ACU complete specifications of any approaches or messages received to attack in the corrupt rule under the Code at the ICC Men’s 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifier.

In Dubai, Naveed was charged with breaching the above two numbers of the Emirates Cricket Board Anti-Corruption Code for Members of a cricket league. ICC General Manager, Alex Marshall stated:

Shaiman Anwar and Mohammad Naveed served their selected nation, the UAE, at the most important level in cricket. Naveed was the captain and driving wicket-taker, and Shaiman Anwar was the first bat. Both international careers and were well-versed in the warning from match-fixers. Both decided to contract with this corrupt action was a cynical betrayal of their jobs, their teammates, including all fans of UAE cricket. Marshal was satisfied that the free Tribunal awarded important bans on these cricketers and presented them as an example for cricketers who think using the evil way.
